Frank is satisfied, though curious about how everything is going to come together. Pages, binders and notebooks filled with chapters, details, backstory – it’s all a bit to take in. The Journey of a Thousand Pages has become even greater, and in creating such an epic tale, some things have become lost in the void.
It’s all good, though.
While our days in the backyard at the patio have ended, we have found new places to experience writing. A meetup in Steveston at Waves Coffee House worked really well, though the volume levels became a tad intense. Frank was okay with it for awhile, but then rebelled and refused to appear.
And if Frank ain’t happy…
So I found him plopped in a chair on my deck, sipping coffee and watching people walk their dogs. He must have been pleased, as the story flowed smooth and he sipped coffee until I could no longer see for darkness.
I find it amazing how rich a world can be when you visit it often. It’s as if the more times you make the journey, the more clear it becomes.
Close to one year ago, I started a novel with the intent to complete it by the end of August. As it stands now, my goal will be accomplished.
Cheers and we’ll see you down the road! – SRG
